Trojan Pressbox

Our press box is one of the best in the state.  We have a 1000W sound system
that is connected to a computer for music and sound effects.    We have a
separate PA system for the game announcer.  There is a radio booth with a
separate phone line so our games can be broadcasted on the radio and Internet.
Here is a picture of the Press Box area.  There are also over 100 reserved seats
directly in front of the press box for our regular fans.
In 2003, the Trojans made a huge improvement to the program.  A 1400
square foot press box was added to Trojan Field.  This press box houses 2
new bathrooms, a concession stand, an umpire dressing room, a coaches
lounge, and a press box with a radio booth.  There are four 8' X 4' windows
across the front for game viewing.  The entire building is heated and cooled.
Upstairs, we also have a coaches lounge.  This is a good place to watch a game
or just hang out and watch TV.  It has a raised table with chairs, a leather
couch, and a computer desk.  We have TV cable run into this room so we can
get TV stations and the Internet.  A wireless router is connected to the cable
modem so we can have wireless Internet access anywhere at the field.  This
comes in handy for watching the local radar in the dugout when bad weather
threatens.  Here are a few pictures of the coaches lounge.  I took 3 pictures and
stitched them together to make the panoramic view you see below.
Our concession stand is also one of the nicest in the state.  We have a deep
fryer, a coffee maker, a stove, three drink coolers, and a refrigerator to use
inside.  The concession stand is also heated and cooled.  It has a 4' X 8'
viewing window so the workers can watch the game when they get a break.  It
also has a central island where all of the food can be prepared to be sold.
